One more release by Wipe Out Records the first LP by The Flowers Of Romance, one of the most "famous" goth rock greek groups. Although they was created in the early 80s they should wait until the dawn of 90s to release their first LP. During the 80s they made only one tape entitled "Anovis" in 1986. Two years later they released the 12" EP "Love Means Death" which contains on its B side a cover of "Paint It Black" and the song "Autumn Kids" which was their first vinyl appearance on the various compilation "Wipe Out Presents: 12 Raw Greek Groups" back in 1988.Get them both with full artwork and take a look at the following sites for further info about them: http://anexartisi.gr/flowersofromance/flowersofromance.htm (greek text)

Thanks for this record. It's always good to know there have been good bands around the world aside from EU and the UK. the influence by The Cult is very noticeable in this band, I love the first track and some of the other songs. The cover of "Children Of The Recvolution" sounds more Black Sabbtah Than T.Rex :)
